Here Goes Nothing...

Well, this is a moment I have been anticipating/dreading...

I love to paint and I have done a decent amount for friends and family, but I have yet to really put myself out there and see if anyone wants to buy it.

In my last post, I showed some of my most recent paintings and shared that I wanted to open an Etsy Shop. Here is one of my all-time favorites again:

I would love to sell my paintings and hopefully some other items as time goes on.  I went ahead and opened a shop and collected pictures from people I have painted for and added the pictures I showed you. I realize there is still a lot of work to be done here, but here is my brand new etsy shop:

Obviously you can use the link above to get there, but if you needed to find me on etsy.com you can use the tab on the left side of the search bar and scroll down to sellers and type in Ashleigh Simmons Art

Many of the pieces I have posted are paintings that I have already made for friends or family, but they are custom, so anyone can buy one and change the name, colors, or size.

Nashville Friends, if you are interested in buying something, please let me know and I can try to whip something up and bring it in a suitcase either at Thanksgiving or Christmas and save you the shipping. You can thank Southwest for letting bags fly free.

I am working on some Christmas ornaments that may or may not make an etsy shop/blog appearance. I wanted to feature them here, but they are taking longer than I expected to dry and be presentable. I will keep you posted on that.

Some other updates:
-Ryan and I went to the Lady Antebellum concert last Wednesday night and they were incredible, as expected.

-David Simmons, my current hero, has secured tickets for all 8 of us to go and sit together at a Garth Brooks concert on December 21st. Don't ask me how he did it. I have no idea. Magic maybe? Probably the magic from it being his birthday weekend.

-Angi Mason arrives for a Denver visit on Thursday night! I am absolutely giddy about having her here!

More Later!
